Za nekoliko nedelja će se održati i The Game Awards 2025, događaj koji poseduje i posebnu esprots kategoriju.
U HyperX Areni u Las Vegasu, održao se jubilarni Esports Awards 2025, manifestacija koja je ugostila najrazličitije ličnosti iz sveta esporta, od igrača i trenera, pa sve do strimera i komentatora. Među pobednicima se izdvajaju League of Legends, Team Vitality, Team Falcons i PUBG Mobile.
League of Legends je nadmašio konkurente kao što su Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends, Dota 2 i VALORANT i time osvojio prestižnu nagradu za Esports igru godine. Riotov najpoznatiji naslov je još jednom potvrdio svoj status jedne od najpopularnijih esport igara na svetu, a kruna njegovog dostignuća je Worlds 2025 koji je zabeležio 6,7 miliona gledalaca. Iako PUBG Mobile nije uspeo da osvoji nagradu za Esports igru godine, čuveni battle royale je dobio priznanje za Esports mobilnu igru godine.
U drugim kategorijama, francuska esports organizacija Team Vitality osvojila je nagradu za Esports tim godine u Counter-Strike 2, dok je Team Falcons proglašen za Esports organizaciju godine.
Esports Awards 2025 je ponudio i 13 individualnih nagrada, što je značajan porast u odnosu na ceremoniju iz 2024. godine, koja ih je imala pet. Metju „ZywOo“ Erbo je osvojio nagradu za Esports PC igrača godine, dok je Street Fighter superstar Ceng „XiaoHai“ Džuodžun proglašen za najboljeg Esports igrača godine u kategoriji konzola.
