Zbog greške koja se manifestuje kao “Uplay has detected an unrecoverable error” poruka, mnogi igrači PC verzije Watch Dogsa nisu u stanju da igraju ovu igru.
UbiSoft se oglasio sledećom izjavom (posle threada na forumu koji je u trenutku ove vesti imao 34 stranice) “We are experiencing issues with the authentication services. Players may experience long delays when trying to login in-game. More to come”, “All the possible efforts are put into the resolution of this problem. We are currently monitoring the situation closely.” i “The connection is rising and the issue still seems intermittent, the sign in system might work after several tries.”
Nadamo se da će UbiSoft ubrzo regulisati svoj Uplay sistem, pa će igrači koji su platili igru moći da uživaju u njoj.
