Sony je saopštio da je u kratkom periodu od 14 juna kada se pojavio na tržištu pa do 3. jula The Last of Us prodat u impresivnih 3,4 miliona primeraka.
Naughty Dog-ova igra je ovim postala “fastest selling new software title” od kada je PlayStation 3 na tržištu. The Last of Us je takođe i najprodavanija PS3 igra uopšte u ovako kratkom periodu u 2013-oj.
