Nvidia je objavila zvanično ime, datum izlaska i cenu za Project Shield.
Portabilna konzola je izgubila “projekat” iz naziva i od sada se zove samo Shield. Izlazi u junu i cena će biti $349.
Pre-order za konzolu će biti dostupan od 20 maja. Neke od glavnih karakteristika su Tegra 4 procesor, HD ekran od 5 inča (720p), sve opcije sa konzolnog kontrolera uključujući dual analog sticks, D-pad i analogne trigere. Ukoliko imate GeForce GTX 650 karticu ili bolju, bićete u mogućnosti da strimujete igre sa vašeg PC-a na Shield.
